Quite simply, Color SnapShot is an FKEY which will take a 'Snap Shot' of the screen and save it for further manipulation.
SnapShot was created to satisfy a need. Many Macintosh users frequently use the screen-dump FKEY's supplied by Apple already installed into port 3. But, as time passed new and better hardware devices and software emerged. Left behind, the Apple's screen-dump FKEY's became decrepit. They only worked with the Mac II under 2 color mode, didn't support larger screens, gave you the option of only saving to MacPaint, and did not save in color. Color SnapShot has come along to fill that gap. You are able to save to six different formats and are able to perform many functions, best of all Color SnapShot is completely compatible with all sized screens and will save in full color. And the result of that work certainly justifies the time put into it.
Your ideas and suggestions are very important, we want to make Color SnapShot the best it can possibly be and we need your help to do so. So if you see something you don’t like, or have an idea you’d like to let us know about, please don’t hesitate to send us a note.
Thank you for supporting the evolution of Color SnapShot!
